So practical! Here's how to make the most of your vacation in Guilin and Yangshuo!

The scenery in Guilin is the best in the world, and the scenery in Yangshuo is the best in Guilin. 📍Itinerary: Day 1: Cruise along the Li River - Stroll around West Street Day 2: Yulong River rafting - Yulong River cycling Day 3: Return to Guilin - Elephant Trunk Hill - Jingjiang Prince City - East and West Alley - Xiaoyao Tower - Sun and Moon Twin Towers Day 4: Fubo Hill - Depart from Guilin 🚗Transportation: For this trip, we mainly used public transportation. We took a cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, and a bus from Yangshuo back to Guilin. Tips: 1️⃣Li River Cruise The beautiful scenery along the way is the essence of Guilin's landscape! If you don't have high requirements for the cabin environment and mainly want to take photos, buying a three-star cruise ticket is enough. The open third-floor deck has an excellent view, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. You won't be sitting in your seat much. 2️⃣West Street and Beer Fish West Street is heavily commercialized. I personally feel that it's fine to just stroll around. Staying on West Street can be very noisy at night. Beer fish is relatively expensive, and some restaurants may overcharge customers, so choose carefully. 3️⃣Yulong River Rafting There are five routes to choose from for Yulong River rafting. I recommend the shorter section from Shui'edi Wharf to Wanjing Wharf. There are multiple dam rushes, which provide a good experience without being boring. 4️⃣Yulong River Cycling Promise me you'll rent an electric scooter or bicycle and cycle along the Yulong River! The overlapping peaks and crisscrossing fields are so beautiful! 5️⃣Guilin City Attractions 🔻Elephant Trunk Hill The first place you must visit is Elephant Trunk Hill! Elephant Trunk Hill is the most famous attraction in Guilin City, and it's permanently free! You don't have to climb the mountain, just take a photo at the viewing platform; 🔻Jingjiang Prince City The lush banyan trees outside the scenic area and inside the old city walls are very cinematic and make for great photos; 🔻East and West Alley A retro commercial street next to Jingjiang Prince City. Some spaces are also quite beautiful; 🔻Xiaoyao Tower Offers a good view of the Li River and distant mountains; 🔻Sun and Moon Twin Towers The best time to visit is at night, because the lights make them very beautiful! The contrasting warm and cool colors of the towers are visually striking. 🏠Accommodation: In Yangshuo, we stayed at Lanshengge Inn by the Yulong River. It was convenient for rafting and cycling, the service was good, and the experience was great. In Guilin, we stayed at Lavande Hotel near Elephant Trunk Hill Park, which was very close to the city's attractions. 🥘Food: 🔻Guilin Rice Noodles The famous "Lao Dongjiang" does taste good, but there's a catch! They charge tourists and locals different prices! I recommend "Kaixin Rice Noodle Shop" near Gate No. 1 of Elephant Trunk Hill Park. It's very delicious, the business is very good, and it's mostly locals who eat there. 🔻Beer Fish You can see beer fish everywhere on Yangshuo West Street, but be careful of getting ripped off! I didn't eat at the most common "Master Fu Beer Fish", so I won't comment on it. The one I went to was called "Zhao Dajie Beer Fish", and it tasted good. 🔻Kiln Chicken Highly recommended! Cycle along the Yulong River, then go to "Yu Yao Ji" for a meal. The kiln chicken is absolutely amazing.
