A Brief Talk on the Trip to Yangshuo

The first time I went to Yangshuo, I felt very good. You will marvel at how there can be such a fairyland, surrounded by mountains and shrouded in mist, feeling like a paradise. Guilin's landscape is indeed well-deserved of its reputation. I want to talk about my accommodation. This time we stayed in two places, one was a hotel and the other was a homestay. Junlan Hotel is near the ancient town of Xingping and the subway station, also very close to the 20 Yuan scenic spot. It's very friendly for those who take the subway. Although the price might be a bit higher, there is a special car to pick you up from the high-speed rail station to the hotel, which I think is acceptable. Junlan Hotel itself is a part of the Sanqianli scenic area, so you can take many beautiful photos inside. We arrived at night and officially started our trip the next day. We took a man-made bamboo raft inside the hotel, which was very nice. The bamboo raft was very beautiful. There weren't many people in the hotel, and it has its own section of the Li River for a river tour. The water is clear and the mountains are green, which feels great. Children can also sit on the bamboo raft and play with water guns. The kids loved it very much. I think this bamboo raft is most suitable for families with children, especially younger ones, as you don't have to go all the way to the Yulong River scenic area. If you need excitement, you can consider the bamboo raft drifting on the Yulong River and go to rush the dam. In the afternoon, we originally planned to go to the 20 Yuan scenic spot, but we were misled and went directly to see the Nine Horse Fresco Hill and the Best Under Heaven scenic spot. Due to lack of time, I didn't get to take a photo of the Best Under Heaven stone, which was a bit of a wasted trip. The 20 Yuan scenic spot was too crowded from afternoon to evening, so we had to choose to go early in the morning. Therefore, my suggestion is to go to the scenic spot early in the morning, which is better and you can leisurely take some photos. At the 20 Yuan scenic spot, you can take photos with the old man and cormorants, which are very photogenic. The 20 Yuan scenic spot is really beautiful. Remember to bring a 20 Yuan note to take photos. Also, you need to rent a small electric scooter, which is an essential tool for getting around Yangshuo. The hotel is very close to the 20 Yuan scenic spot. Remember to take the main road, not the small road. In the evening, we went to Ajin Old Restaurant in Xingping Ancient Town for dinner. It was cheap and affordable, and the taste was okay. But it was raining, so we didn't get to stroll around the ancient town, which was a bit of a pity. The small shops in the ancient town are not expensive, you can go for a walk and buy more. I bought two dresses, a bag, and a hat for taking photos, which was very suitable. On the third day, we took a Didi to the Anzaiye Homestay in the Yulong River scenic area, which took about an hour's drive. Anzaiye Homestay has a young Japanese-style decoration, simple and fashionable. Outside the floor-to-ceiling glass is a beautiful green mountain, the location is very good. This hotel is also very close to the dam of the Yulong River. You can also take a small electric scooter to tour the Ten-Mile Gallery. We rode the small electric scooter and somehow reached a dam on the Yulong River, which is very worth visiting, very beautiful. Remember to drive the small electric scooter to the right of Anzaiye, and after a short distance, you will reach it. We also went to West Street and watched the Guilin Eternal Love show, which is very worth seeing. Anzaiye Homestay can arrange special car transfers within the town, which is nice.
