Yengde Wharf to Xingping Wharf

I’ve read some pretty terrible reviews about this experience but going on an uncrowded rainy day was not a bad experience! Each boat holds 4 passengers and you must pay for all seats. So you either hook up with others or it gets very expensive. It’s 225/seat and 117 for each empty seat. It’s a gas powered boat, so it is loud, but honestly the views are magnificent. The trip takes an hour or so. I recommend being in the front seats for the best views. From the dock, you can easily walk to the Xingping old town.
