20 Yuan Viewpoint

The image of 20 yuan note is a view of a fisherman on his bamboo boat floating down the Li River through the Karst mountains of Guilin. The viewpoint is located around 25 kilometers northeast of Yangshuo, near Xingping Fishing Village (兴坪景区). Xingping is a small village along the Li River. The scenery around Xingping is absolutely magnificent, so if you want to see 20 Yuan viewpoint you need take a walk out of town on a nice path which crosses a tributary of the Li River and takes you onto a smaller road that runs along the river. After about a 20 minutes walk from Xingping village you will reach the spot where you can see the scenery immortalised on the national 20 RMB note. There’s a spot where everyone is taking a picture, it’s crowded and noisy. So we walk down the road and went down the hill to the river and found a wonderful spot where you can see the view of 20 rmb note. And there’s no people. How to get there: minibuses departing to Xingping are available at Yangshuo Bus Station (around 45 minutes).
