Back from Hailing Island, not recommended in January

Hey everyone, just got back from Hailing Island and I have to share my family trip experience! I really don't recommend going in January, you might not want to come back! Travel Gear 🎒 Before departure, I prepared a small backpack 🎒, children's sun protection clothing, a sun hat, and beach toys for my child. I brought sunglasses 🕶, sunscreen, lightweight sportswear, and comfortable sneakers 👟 for myself. Remember to bring enough water and snacks, as kids tend to get hungry during the trip. Transportation 🚗 We chose to drive from a nearby city, and the journey was smooth. Parking on the island was convenient, with dedicated parking lots. If you take the high-speed train 🚄, you can go to Yangjiang Station and then transfer to a car. Travel Itinerary 🌊 Day 1: Dajiao Bay - Mawai Island We arrived at Dajiao Bay in the morning, where the sand is fine and the sea is clear. The kids had a great time playing on the beach 🏖️, and we could see the waves crashing against the shore. We had seafood noodles 🍜 for lunch nearby. In the afternoon, we went to Mawai Island to watch the sunset, and the scenery was stunning 🌅. Day 2: Mangrove National Wetland Park - Beiluo Secret In the morning, we visited the Mangrove Wetland Park, which is home to many rare plants and birds 🐦. We had clay pot rice 🥘 for lunch near the park. In the afternoon, we went to Beiluo Secret, which has a beautiful coastline and a unique cliff pool 🏊‍♀️. ## Recommended Spots 🌟 1️⃣ Dajiao Bay: Iconic beach with fine sand and clean water, perfect for kids to play in the sand and waves. 2️⃣ Mawai Island: A great place to watch the sunset and catch crabs 🦀. 3️⃣ Mangrove National Wetland Park: Get close to nature and see various rare plants and birds. 4️⃣ Beiluo Secret: Unique cliff pool with great scenery, perfect for photos. Food Recommendations 🍱 1️⃣ Seafood Porridge: Fresh seafood cooked to perfection, delicious taste. 2️⃣ Grilled Oysters: Big and juicy, full of garlic flavor. 3️⃣ Pig Intestine Roll: Local specialty snack with a rich taste. 4️⃣ Fried Rice Noodles: Delicious taste with vegetables and meat. Accommodation Recommendations 🏨 We stayed at the Hailing Island Poly Crowne Plaza Hotel, which had a great environment and good service. The room was clean and tidy, and we could see the sea 🌊 from the window. The hotel had children's play facilities, making it perfect for family stays. Travel Tips ⚠️ 1️⃣ Protect your child from the sun to avoid sunburn. 2️⃣ Always pay attention to your child's safety, especially when playing on the beach and by the sea. 3️⃣ Check the weather in advance to avoid bad weather. 4️⃣ Plan your itinerary reasonably, don't make it too tight.
