It is hard to imagine that there would be such a magnificent museum on Hailing Island in Yangjiang. Yes, it is a museum specially built to commemorate the salvage of "Nanhai No. 1". The overall building is very peculiar. It looks like a "cement pipe" from the outside, but there is a lot of space inside. The main exhibit is the famous "display box" of the "Nanhai No. 1". Visitors can observe the appearance of the "Nanhai No. 1" up close here. A large number of porcelains were unearthed from the Nanhai No. 1, as well as Gold wares, daily necessities, etc. are important features when studying my country’s maritime trade during the Song Dynasty. The cultural relics on display are quite rich, but some of them are currently collected in the Guangdong Provincial Museum. When I visited, there was also an exhibition about dragons and New Year paintings in other exhibition halls, so you can check them out!
