Yanagawa is a famous water city in Japan, with canals connecting every corner of the city, earning it the nickname 'Japan's Venice.' How can you visit Yanagawa without experiencing a boat tour? The entire trip takes about an hour, where you can enjoy the scenery along the roads while riding a small boat, feeling the unique nostalgic atmosphere of Japan. It's very relaxing. The second stop is to taste the local cuisine, and Yanagawa is most famous for its eel rice! On the day of the visit, we went to the local old shop 'Wakamatsuya.' There weren't many tourists, so no need to queue. The interior decoration is full of Japanese sentiment, and the food is of high standard! Highly recommend the eel tamagoyaki.
