Hidden cherry blossom spots in Gifu

About 15 minutes north from Gifu City, in Yamagata City, cherry trees are planted along the Toba River. There are an astounding 570 cherry trees! They are planted over a 3km stretch, and the scenery is spectacular. The riverside is a cycling road, so there are few people and no one laying out their sheets to enjoy the cherry blossoms, which has the added benefit of making it easier to take beautiful photos.
