🌟Highlights: This is the hidden little paradise around Enshi—Xuan'en. Pengjiazhai is located on the northern foothills of Wuling Mountain, in the southwestern part of Shadaogou Town, Xuan'en County. The area is picturesque, rich in talent, and full of ancient charm, like a dazzling pearl shining on the southwestern border of Xuan'en County. As a typical Tujia village, it still retains the basic characteristics of Tujia settlements. The stilted buildings built along the mountain are arranged in an orderly manner, each forming its own system. Surrounded by lush greenery, it looks like a harmonious landscape painting. Here, you can find well-preserved Tujia stilted buildings with a history of 200 years, folk performances, and specialty foods showcasing Tujia culture, as well as the unique local custom of 'sun drying in autumn.' After the rain, the tea gardens are shrouded in a thin mist. The air is filled with the fresh scent of dew, and the morning fog creates an ethereal atmosphere. The scenic area has built hiking trails, and from the highest wooden pavilion, every snapshot is a beautiful landscape painting. Yaotianyan is a mysterious sinkhole surrounded by dense vegetation and steep cliffs inside. It is a sinkhole formed by the long-term erosion of underground water and soluble rocks, about 300 meters deep. Along the way, you can see stone forests, red spider lilies, and cosmos flowers everywhere, with endless scenic views. Due to the humid climate, it is covered with primitive ferns, as if you are in the Jurassic period. There are also suspended cableways and rock climbing facilities built above the sinkhole, and you can take an elevator or walk down the trail to the bottom of the valley. Walking through the rocky walkways of the scenic area, it feels like crossing through gates of time and space, truly 'everywhere is a scene.' Xuan'en is most famous for its night views. The fairy mountains and tribute waters are far from its entirety; it also has dazzling night scenes. Wind and rain bridges, jellyfish lamps, and musical fountains are among the highlights, showcasing the meticulous urban planning that makes you forget you are in a small county. When you have free time, you can enjoy grilled fish by the river, leisurely and carefree. Modaluo, the Xuan'en version of Hongyadong, not only has dreamy, brilliant lights but also a strong ethnic atmosphere.
