Xinjin Taiping Ancient Town

Xinjin Taiping Ancient Town is located on the banks of the Nan River, where the Tiexi River and the Shitou River meet, forming a unique geographical advantage. Historically, it was an important place on the west line of Chengdu Prefecture to Tibet, known as the "Tibetan Thoroughfare". During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Taiping was known as the "First Market of Xinjin" due to its prosperous commercial activities.
