The Maitreya Buddha stands on a lotus pedestal, with a high bun, wearing a five-flower crown, bare upper body, slender waist, holding a lotus flower in each hand, and a drape hanging down from both shoulders along the arms. The lower body is wearing a skirt. The lotus pedestal has two circles of bead patterns, with long lotus petals around it. The Buddha statue has an "S" shape posture, with intricate and luxurious decorations, and the craftsmanship is exquisite. The overall style is elegant and magnificent. The lotus pedestal in front of the Buddha statue's feet is engraved with the six-character Han-Tibetan inscription "Bestowed in the Yongle Year of the Great Ming." As an official court statue from the Yongle and Xuande periods, it is a model of Ming dynasty gilt bronze statues. The height of the Ming Yongle bronze gilded Guanyin statue is 1.46 meters. Unlike lofty deities, people can easily make eye contact with it. Its eyebrows and eyes are like the crescent moon, with a straight nose, gentle expression, and dignified appearance, full of compassion, embodying the idea of "responding to every prayer, being a boat to ferry people across the sea of suffering."
