This museum is absolutely not to be missed. It is divided into two parts: the north and the south. Due to the vastness of the Tibetan area, the natural environment and climate conditions in each region are different, and the production and lifestyle are also different. Tibetan costumes can be described as colorful, with obvious regional differences in color matching, structure, decoration, and dressing styles. The museum is divided into four categories: Amdo costumes, Kham costumes, Uizang costumes and monk costumes, with more than 90 representative pieces on display. Each piece of clothing is exquisite and extremely rare, and it is absolutely rare to see it elsewhere. Compared with here, the similar exhibits on display at the Provincial Expo are simply indescribable. . . The treasure of the museum is located on the top floor of the south hall. The huge thangka spreads over 600 meters. It took 27 years from planning to completion. More than 400 scholars, experts, and top craftsmen used pure natural painting pigments to create the masterpiece. Drawn with traditional Tibetan painting techniques. The content records a series of bizarre religious stories and magnificent historical events from the beginning of the creation of the world to modern society. During this period, it contains knowledge on politics, philosophy, culture, art, science and technology, medical treatment and other aspects. Almost all legendary figures in Tibet have appeared in it. Songtsen Gampo, Milarepa, Sakya Pandita, Phagpa, and Tsongkhapa are all reflected in this scroll. There are only things you can’t imagine that the painter has not painted. It is really a wonderful museum. It is the best choice to learn about Tibetan culture. If time is really limited and you have to make a choice between the Provincial Museum and the Provincial Museum, I strongly recommend giving up the Provincial Museum.
