Xingyi, Guizhou, China's most beautiful 'East African Great Rift Valley' waterfall cluster

This summer vacation self-driving tour in Guizhou, what came as a surprise was probably Xingyi! Before, because it was in the southwestern corner of Guizhou, far from Chengdu, I almost gave up. In the end, Xingyi became the only place where I stayed for two nights during this trip. Perhaps the meaning of travel is just that, exploring the unknown and feeling the surprises. My original principle was to avoid all attractions with an entrance fee! But this time in Xingyi, it was an exception! First, I caught a glimpse of it from this old bridge, and it was a breathtaking sight! The canyon waterfall cluster, known on the internet as 'the most beautiful scar on Earth'! Especially after the rain or during the rain, with clouds and mist swirling, dry waterfalls turning into streams, it's like a fairyland! Attraction: Maling River Canyon Location: Maling River Canyon Scenic Area, Xingyi, Guizhou Transportation: Only 5 kilometers from Xingyi city center, convenient by taxi or car Ticket: Half price 35 yuan (Guizhou national scenic spot policy) Parking: Free, remember to park at 'Dachaiwo Parking Lot' Touring: About 3 hoursVVv Tour Guide 1️⃣ 'Maling Canyon Bridge' on National Highway 324 (old bridge) is the best viewpoint to overlook the Maling River Canyon. You don't need to spend money to see the scenery of P1 from the bridge. Remember to look on both sides of the bridge, different scenery! A true Chinese version of the 'East African Great Rift Valley'! 2️⃣ If you're driving, be sure to park at 'Dachaiwo Parking Lot', right next to 'Maling Canyon Bridge'. This parking lot is free! It is also the entrance to the scenic area on foot. 3️⃣ There are two entrances and exits to the scenic area, another is called 'Xiaoqingshan', which is the entrance and exit for taking the sightseeing elevator up and down the canyon. If you have difficulty walking or lack physical strength, you can take the sightseeing elevator. One-way 30 yuan/person, round-trip 40 yuan/person. But personally, I don't think it's necessary, as the difficulty of climbing is not great. 4️⃣ Remember to bring rain gear (raincoat, umbrella)! No matter how good the weather is! Because after going down, you will get wet from the waterfalls, and there might be sudden rainstorms! Our painful experience! Caught in a sudden rainstorm, to save time we took the elevator up, and as a result, we had to pass through seven or eight waterfalls and got completely soaked! 5️⃣ For the tour route inside the canyon, it is recommended to go down from the 'Dachaiwo Entrance', first visit the 'Galloping Horses Waterfall', then turn back, and watch the waterfalls all the way to the 'Xiaoqingshan Exit', finally exiting on foot or by elevator from the 'Xiaoqingshan Exit'! 6️⃣ Additionally, you can also enjoy rafting in the Maling River Canyon, which takes about 1 hour.
