The Mysterious Ximeng

Arriving in Ximeng, I almost dropped my jaw in surprise - how could Yunnan have such a city? It takes only one hour from Menglian to Ximeng by minibus, with beautiful scenery along the way. I arrived in Ximeng in the afternoon, and as I stepped out of the bus station, the sight before me was astonishing. There were buildings of earthy yellow, round and cute, with a straw triangular top like thatch houses, like fairy tale castles... Palm trees swayed gently, the streets were clean, orderly, and peaceful, with flowers blooming alongside the road. There were hardly any pedestrians on the road, no traffic lights at the intersections, and the occasional car that passed by moved like a little turtle through a fairy tale forest... Wow, this is the Ximeng I saw, totally a two-dimensional world!
