I took a life-changing photo at Pingdingshan

There is a super long volcanic belt in Inner Mongolia, so I encountered a group again today. Although they are also volcanoes, this volcano is different from yesterday's Wulanhada. Moreover, you can see it just by passing by on the highway, making it irresistible to stop (there are designated parking spots) to take photos. Whether viewed from afar or up close, it is equally stunning! The volcano at Pingdingshan has a visibly flat top, forming a perfect parallel line with the distant grasslands. This is not man-made; it is purely the work of nature. After learning about it, I found out that this type of landform is called a "Belik multi-step lava plateau" in geological terms. It is formed by the combined effects of river cutting and wind and rain erosion. In other words, the vast land we see today was once a vast expanse of water (possibly a sea or a large lake) a long, long time ago. After millions of years of evolution, we now have this amazing natural wonder. There is still a scientific expedition boardwalk from those years at the foot of the mountain. Visitors can now climb to the top of the volcano via newly built steps to take life-changing photos. However, there are no railings at the top, and the gravel is quite large and uneven, so don't go too far out. Just improve your and your friends' photography skills a bit, and you won't need to take risks. p.s. Honestly, there is so much of the world and knowledge that you don't know until you go out.
