|||I've been to Xichang countless times! Here's a summary of a 2-day, 1-night travel guide to Xichang for the May Day holiday~ I recommend this place!! The scenery is super beautiful~ Fun, delicious, and photogenic🏞️ Xichang is a place that doesn't lose out to Yunnan~ On average, 600💰 for two days of fun. ▪️About transportation: Day❶ At 8:00 in the morning, take the high-speed train🚄 from Chengdu South to Xichang in 3 hours, then download the 'Yuecheng Bus'🚌 app for convenient travel to attractions. ▪️About accommodation: Stay in the downtown area of Xichang, where the accommodation is cost-effective and not far from Qionghai. Accommodation near Qionghai is expensive during holidays! ▪️Itinerary: Day❶: Jianchang Ancient Town➠Lushan Cableway➠Moonlight Town➠Sailing Base➠Moon Bay Sunset Day❷: Yuegu Winery➠Xibo Fish Restaurant➠Qionghai Bay➠Yinlin Beach➠Dashi Ban Village ▪️Attractions: 📍Jianchang Ancient Town The reddish-brown earth walls, bougainvillea by the city walls, the play of light and shadow in the streets under the sunlight, and the view of the entire ancient town from atop the city walls 📍Lushan Cableway Take the sightseeing car up the mountain, and the single-person cableway down the mountain for a bird's-eye view of the entire Qionghai, the view is too nice, and the slide is super fun! You can control the brakes on the way down, but be careful not to carry a backpack, as monkeys may snatch it... 📍Moonlight Town, Sailing Base Located at the 'Little Jeju Island' of Qionghai, navigate to Moonlight White Coffee nearby, with its seaside coconut trees and pebble paths, reminiscent of Korean streets~ Walk straight to the right to check in at Qionghai Hotel, Black Swan Coffee, Fishing Platform 📍Moon Bay Sunset🌄 A less crowded place to watch the sunset, free of charge, accessible by bus, and a great spot for sisters who don't want to walk, perfect for photos~ 📍Yuegu Winery A garden full of grapevines, sporadic roses, benches under the shade of trees, orange-colored cabins, European-style architecture, and straight roads all speak of the romance here~ Great for taking photos! 📍Xibo Fish Restaurant, Qionghai Bay, Yinlin Beach Check in at these three spots together, they are very close to each other, with a lonely tree by the lake, white sandy beaches, and for a detailed guide, see my previous post on Qionghai photo spots~ 📍Dashi Ban Village, Lingying Temple The orange ancient temple buildings are super nice to visit and photograph. Many people come here to take Yi ethnic group portraits, but I think it's cliché and unnecessary; you can create your own makeup and find places to take pictures.
