Mount Siguniang, Chengdu | A hidden retreat in the mountains Siguniang Mountain Starry Sky Vacilando Resort 📍Xiaojin County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, located in Changping Valley Scenic Area. We stayed at this resort for three nights during our trip to Mount Siguniang, Chengdu, and experienced two room types: a double bed room with a view of the snow-capped mountains on both sides and a 270-degree panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains. ✅ The 270-degree room is particularly difficult to book as there is only one. The bed is an electric mobile bed that can be moved out of the room onto the balcony. It is very creative. You can lie in bed and watch the starry sky at night, and during the day, you can lie in bed and watch the 6,250-meter-high Yaomei Peak. It is absolutely amazing. ❌ However, I personally think there is a downside. Because there is an open-air swimming pool upstairs, there is the sound of running water 24 hours a day. If you are a light sleeper, I do not recommend it. I had altitude sickness, and I felt dizzy and tired at night. I was very sensitive to even the slightest sound, so I couldn't sleep. I only fell asleep after drinking glucose water. The resort is a wooden building with a spacious courtyard. Every corner exudes nature and harmony. Time seems to slow down, giving people the opportunity to calm down and appreciate the beauty of life. Unfortunately, we didn't see Mount Siguniang and the golden mountain due to the weather during the three days. A Mercedes-Benz business car can take you to Changping Valley. Three meals a day are provided. There is also a bonfire party in the evening, where you can dance the local Guozhuang dance and enjoy a barbecue. It is very lively! Due to the high altitude, the hotel is equipped with oxygen devices and Dyson hair dryers. The staff also provide glucose and various candies, which is very thoughtful.
