The only drawback: It takes an hour and a half to drive from Changsha

This week we went to Shuifu Temple National Wetland Park, the largest wetland park in central Hunan. Not only is it large, but it's also free. You can camp 🌄, picnic 🥘, and fish 🎏 here. It is about 130 kilometers to drive here from Changsha, and the whole journey is on the highway, which is quite convenient. If it weren't an hour and a half drive from Changsha, this treasure place would have the potential to become the back garden of Changsha. ▫️ However, perhaps because the planning has not kept up, there are not many leisure and entertainment facilities here at present. There are only yachts and some farmhouses to choose from around. ▫️ This time we drove to the eastern part of Shuifu Temple Wetland Park specifically to watch the sunset, which is not within the planned scenic area. Drive a few kilometers west from the "Shuifu" highway exit and you will reach the east side of the wetland park. If you have a whole day, I strongly recommend you to take a leisurely walk along the wetland park and park your car wherever you see beautiful scenery🚗. ▫️ When the weather is clear, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset in the east area of ​​​​Shuifu Temple🌅. We chose to watch the sunset at Xikou Middle School, which is 5 kilometers away from the highway exit. There are almost no tourists here, and the reservoir is full of fishermen. ▫️ ❤️Play suggestions: ✅Just drive and navigate to "Shuifu Temple National Wetland Park", and drive to "Xikou Middle School" in Xingzipu Town to watch the sunset. ✅The wetland park is located at the junction of Loudi and Xiangtan, only more than 30 kilometers away from Loudi city. You can stop by Loudi to check in and eat Loudi’s delicacies!
