Locals jogged past, and photographers paused to capture the stunning contrast of greenery, red rooftops, and the sparkling ocean. Ending the trek near Huangcuo Beach, I dipped my feet into the warm sand, savoring a moment of peace before heading back. From mountaintop views to seaside strolls, the Shanhai Trail turned my Xiamen transit into a refreshing adventure, proving that even a short stay can capture the essence of this coastal city.
