The hotel is a century-old house that has been renovated, but the interior is very dark and has a sense of simplicity. The hotel check-in area is small, but the staff are very enthusiastic. Opposite the lobby is a leisure space for guests to rest and read. The hotel is divided into a main building and an annex. This time I stayed in a suite in the annex, which has a courtyard and is quite interesting. It is worth mentioning that the door lock of the hotel room uses a key, which is very traditional. The Bose sound system, Appelles toiletries, and Evian mineral water are also good configurations. The most important thing is that it is cheap. Such a well-designed hotel suite is only CNY 1,060, and it also includes afternoon tea and two or three free tea-drinking experience activities. It is much better than many boutique homestays in Changsha that cost CNY 2,000. I personally think that Gulangyu Island is still very suitable for boutique homestay lovers. There are also top hotels such as Hongtang, Lin's Mansion, and Qishang Rong House, which are very good. The hotel breakfast is set menu, with grilled mackerel, which tastes good. Another advantage of the hotel is that it is very convenient to go to Longtou Road to eat. Houshenglin, Linbingji, and Linsixi are all within a few hundred meters, and Sunlight Rock is also within a ten-minute walk.
