Spend the weekend at InterContinental Xiamen Haicang

There are currently two Indigo brand hotels in Xiamen. One is the Haigang Indigo, which is located on the island, on Lujiang Road, across the river from Gulangyu Island; the other is the Haicang Indigo, which is located on the edge of the inner lake in Haicang. Hotel Indigo Haicang opened relatively late and is relatively newer, so this time I chose to stay at Hotel Indigo Xiamen Haicang. The hotel is in a good location, right next to the Aloha Commercial Plaza, where dining and shopping are very convenient. The surrounding lakeside parks are ideal for strolling and relaxing, and the new Haicang landmark "Jinsha Academy" across the lake is also a popular check-in spot recently. The hotel is quite big, and the landscaping design at the entrance is also very nice. A large circular lake is divided into two sides by a winding tiled road. At first glance, it looks like the Bagua in Tai Chi. The hotel's front desk, bar and restaurant are all on the first floor. Buffet breakfast is served on this floor, but there are relatively few meal options. I didn’t want to go out for dinner at the hotel, so I ordered some food from the hotel’s Lanyu Restaurant.
