Location: 🚦 Xiamen, Fujian 🟥 Route: Yefengzhai—Huangcuo Beach—Zengcuo'an—Zhongshan Road—Bashi—Shapowei—Shili Longdi 🟦 Food: Satay noodles 🟠 I was lucky to catch a sunny day in Xiamen. The weather was great. I planned to get up early to see the sunrise at Huangcuo, but I didn't get up when the alarm went off. I took a double-decker bus to Yefengzhai. The coconut trees along the island ring road made me feel like summer. 🟡 I met a girl from the youth hostel at Yefengzhai. We went to Huangcuo and Zengcuo'an together, strolled around, and ate satay noodles. A few hours after we parted, we met again at Shili Longdi. It was a wonderful coincidence. 🟢 Zhongshan Road is close to Bashi. I took photos of the buildings from the top of George Mall. I felt lazy in the afternoon. I passed the ferry terminal and saw Gulangyu Island right in front of me. 🟣 Shapowei is a great place for photos. The rooftop on the third floor of the West District has a wide view. The coffee is good, and there are many shops in the alleys worth visiting. 🟤 I took the sea subway on Line 1, waited for a sunset at Shili Longdi, and enjoyed the beautiful sunset glow and a wonderful concert. Xiamen is fulfilling and romantic. 📝 Xiamen was the first city I traveled to alone. I came here in June a few years ago. Except for the sunset at Huangcuo, Xiamen Airlines, and satay noodles in the alleys, I didn't have a good experience. Although there were some small episodes today, the weather was great, and I was in a good mood. Someone asked me why I went to a city I had been to before. It's the familiarity in my memory. The places I've been to are old places. I revisit not only the scenery but also the past.
