Renaissance Xiamen Resort & Spa This hotel is located off the island. I always choose to stay here for 2-3 nights when I visit Xiamen. The Xiamen Marriott Hotel & Conference Center is located to the northeast of the hotel. I used to stay one night at each hotel, but this time I stayed at the Renaissance for the entire trip due to the Q3 situation. Room: I stayed in an Ocean View King Room this time. The room is 60 sqm, much larger than the rooms at the Marriott. However, you can choose to stay in a villa or a poolside room at the Marriott. I've stayed in a Seaside Suite here before, which was very large, but it's not necessary for two people. The room has a great view. You can see the beach and the sea, and you can also enjoy the view of Egret Island in the distance. The welcome gift was a few Sunshine Roses and Daifuku. The best feature of this room is the balcony, where you can watch the sunrise and sunset and enjoy some rare leisure time. Dining: This is a resort hotel, so there is no executive lounge. The breakfast is shared with the nearby Source Hotel, so the food is not very good and there are not many options. The satay noodles are not very good either, not as good as the Marriott next door. Service: Apart from room service and the restaurant, the service is average. Location: The hotel is located off the island, so it's a bit out of the way. However, there are many commercial facilities nearby, including a Sunshine Town with many dining options. It's also close to Qixing Town, which is a good place to take photos. If it's your first time visiting Xiamen, I wouldn't recommend staying here. It's more convenient to stay on the island.
