The seafood here is not only fresh but also diverse. Besides the common types, there are many sea creatures that I can't even name. When dining at the seafood restaurants here, you can choose your seafood and have it prepared on the spot. It's a good idea to ask about the prices beforehand, and if they are reasonable, I highly recommend trying the fresh seafood at Ba Shi! 🍲 In addition to seafood, Ba Shi also hides various authentic Xiamen snacks! There are steaming hot Shacha noodles, crispy and delicious fried Wuxiang, sweet and not too greasy peanut soup, and the somewhat intimidating Tushun jelly... The place is a bit small, so I usually take my food to eat elsewhere. ✅ A-Ji Zai Department Store: Mainly sells local specialty pastries and some creative cultural products. 🏠 Besides food, Ba Shi also has shops selling Xiamen specialties like tea, dried seafood, and cultural products. The market is rich in culture and history, with old buildings that retain much of the old Xiamen charm.
