Shangli Reservoir, a treasure park comparable to "Switzerland" in its scenic beauty. The vast sloping lawns are the top choice for weekend camping, and choosing a good day to take photos here is truly breathtaking! Follow my lens and explore this hidden gem of a park! ———Brief Introduction——— 【1】Shangli Reservoir is located in the southern part of Xiamen Island, on the east side of Wenzeng Road, surrounded by Yuping Mountain (Xiguling), Dongping Mountain, and Huangcuoling on three sides, and is near Xiamen Botanical Garden. 【2】Below the dam of Shangli Reservoir is a large pond, a bend of clear water, surrounded by lush vegetation. Many bamboo pavilions are built by the water, and a twenty-meter-long bamboo bridge lies across the water. There is also a promenade along the shore. 【3】The view is very open, at a glance, you can see vast lawns, wide water areas, and undulating mountains. Near the water area, there are aquatic plants such as reeds and canna. ———Basic Guide——— 【Ticket Price】Free 【Detailed Address】866 Longhushan Road, Siming District, Xiamen City (Wenzeng Road, Siming District) 【Transportation Guide】Take bus 52 or B2 and get off at "Botanical Garden East Gate Station". The entrance to Shangli Reservoir Park is right across the street. However, buses are infrequent, and if there are no seats, you are not allowed to board. ———Travel Suggestions——— 【1】A walking path surrounds the water area and passes through the hills in the park. The scenery is stunning, making it ideal for long-distance walking or running. 【2】If you don't want to walk too far, it is recommended to enter from the side gate of the Botanical Garden, walk south along the west side of the lake to the dam. The dam is a must-see. 【3】This place is perfect for taking photos. The vast grassland makes it easy to capture fresh and natural photos.
