During the Spring Festival, at Exit 4 of Zhongshan Park subway station, there are several flourishing golden acacias. When I went to shoot in the morning of the second day of the first lunar month (this time mainly for shooting videos), I met many tourists visiting Xiamen. They took the subway to the botanical garden and were attracted by the golden flowers when they came out from Exit 4. They took photos here and kept praising the beauty of Xiamen in winter🌹 After shooting the golden acacia flowers, crossing the zebra crossing, I came to Baijiacun. The pocket park at the entrance, Lianxin Garden, is the finishing touch of urban organic renewal. The villa at No. 42, Shentian Road, originally belonged to Huang Zhencheng, a Filipino Chinese (it is said to be Ke Qingyuan), and was built in the 1930s. During the fall of Xiamen, the Japanese invaders occupied the villa and set up their highest authority in Xiamen, the 'Xingya Institute Xiamen Liaison Department', here. It has also been the old site of the Xiamen District Court of the Republic of China and the Xiamen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China. But what's special about this building is not just its background, but its architectural style is unique in Xiamen. The architecture of Baijiacun is very diverse, with Western-style villas left by overseas Chinese everywhere, with various styles, standing in the streets with a local flavor.
