The open-plan standard room I stayed in this time has a more reasonable space layout than the slightly smaller one-bedroom suite, and the south-facing view allows you to see the Ritz-Carlton, which is very pleasant. One of the outstanding advantages of staying in an executive apartment is that it is equipped with complete kitchenware, such as an induction cooker, microwave oven, dishwasher, and range hood, which is very friendly for guests traveling with the whole family and who need to cook. At the same time, the washing machine and dryer are also very considerate for long-term business travelers, and it would be perfect if the equipment was more advanced. The room provides Twinings tea bags from the UK, which are of good quality, but the mineral water is Pure Joy, which is a bit ordinary. The room has independent underfloor heating, which makes guests feel extra warm when they return to their room in the low temperature of 3–4°C in Xi'an. Although the bathroom facilities are at the same level as Fairfield, they can also meet basic needs. The bedding is normal and can ensure a comfortable sleep experience. Of course, there is room for improvement in the hotel. Its own facilities are limited, the gym is small, there are few pieces of equipment, and there is no swimming pool. In contrast, the Marriott Executive Apartments in Changsha are better in this regard. As for breakfast, the variety is at a medium level among Marriott hotels in Xi'an, and the service staff will not only properly arrange and guide guests but also thoughtfully ask about their favorite drinks. When ordering noodles, the staff will personally deliver the noodles to the room. This kind of service has not been experienced in some Sheraton hotels, and the staff always have a smile on their faces and have a great attitude. In terms of Marriott member SNP points accumulation, executive apartments accumulate 1 room night for every 3 nights, which is slightly insufficient. The off-season price for this stay was CNY 420. Overall, the hotel experience can be rated 80 points, with good overall performance and room for improvement.
