Xi'an Slow Travel | Qinling Panda Base and Louguantai ||| Qinling Four Treasures Science Park (Qinling Giant Panda Breeding Base), Louguantai Forest Park, and Zongsheng Palace (Ginkgo Tree Planted by Laozi) are all next to each other. You can visit the giant pandas first, and then enjoy the autumn scenery. 1. Qinling Four Treasures Science Park is worth visiting. The park is beautiful and well-organized. There are three panda houses, House 1, House 2, and the Juvenile Panda House. The most special one is the brown panda, Qizai. We went on a weekday, so there were few people, and we could watch the pandas up close. The crested ibis, golden monkeys, and red pandas are also well taken care of. Ticket: CNY 30 (I think this is a great price) 2. Louguantai National Forest Park There is a God of Wealth Temple and a bronze statue of Laozi. The management is average, and the place is a bit desolate, but the natural environment is good. If you have time, you can walk through the bamboo forest and forest trails. Ticket: Free; Parking: CNY 10 3. Zongsheng Palace This is where Laozi taught, and the phrase "Purple Air Comes from the East" originated here. There is a 2,600-year-old ginkgo tree here, which is said to have been planted by Laozi. Compared to the thousand-year-old ginkgo tree at the Ancient Guanyin Temple, it is not as tall. When we went, the leaves were not all yellow (at the same time, the leaves at the Ancient Guanyin Temple were all yellow). However, the advantage is that there are almost no people, and you can walk under the tree. The park is also large, with some ruins and many beautiful ancient cypress trees, maple trees, and phoenix trees, which are great for photos. Ticket: CNY 35; Parking: I forgot, about CNY 10. Recommendation: Qinling Four Treasures Science Park is worth visiting, but you can't spend too long there, so you can also visit the other two places and spend half a day there.
