While there is indeed food, the prices are not cheap, and the offerings are quite homogeneous. If you are here for the food, you might want to head to the nearby 'Sajinqiao' or 'Yongxingfang.' This place is more suitable for a casual stroll and a quick bite. 📅Travel Guide: 'Huimin Street' is located in the alley behind the Drum Tower. It is recommended to first visit the 'Gao Family Mansion' (admission fee required) within Huimin Street. It is one of the best-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty courtyards in Xi'an and was once the residence of Gao Yuesong, the second-place scholar in the Qing Dynasty. Gao Yuesong was appointed as the second-place scholar by the emperor in the tenth year of the Tongzhi reign and was granted the position of editor at the Hanlin Academy. Empress Dowager Cixi ordered the state to allocate funds for its renovation, allowing the Gao Family Mansion to be preserved to this day. Interested visitors can also experience the 'Shaanxi dialect shadow puppetry' and listen to 'Hua Yin Lao Qiang' in the theater at the back courtyard of the second-place scholar's house. Near the exit, there is 'Lao Mi's Steamed Bun' offering quality lamb for 38 yuan per serving. The service is minimal, and the staff are not very responsive. One bowl is enough for two people, with two buns to break by yourself. The taste is just okay!
