Falling in love with this city doesn't need a reason

When speaking of the Tang Dynasty, mentioning Chang'an, I always unconsciously recall a line of poetry: 'With the spring breeze, the horse's hooves are swift, in one day admiring all the flowers of Chang'an.' The young men in bright clothing and spirited horses, the prosperous era, the crowded lantern festivals... how can one not yearn for it? Xi'an, formerly known as 'Chang'an,' the name itself implies the continuous blessings of the ancestors: long governance and lasting peace, forever enjoying tranquility. When you come to Xi'an, you must first witness the most well-preserved ancient city wall in our country to date—the Xi'an Ancient City Wall. The city, true to its name, is sufficiently long and peaceful. You can visit the Xi'an Museum, where every exhibit is a gateway to history. There is also the towering Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which, when shrouded in the mists of the Qinling Mountains, showcases the charm of Chang'an to the world. Under the night sky, Chang'an is a glowing city, taking you through time into the splendor of the Tang Dynasty. All sorts of activities fill me with excitement and emotion. Chang'an, a place with a 'sense of historical time travel.' From here, the famous Silk Road was pioneered. Xuanzang set off from here, traveling westward to retrieve Buddhist scriptures. Wang Zhaojun set off from here, building a bridge of friendship for peace and exchange between the Central Plains and the frontier. Chang'an is the eternal poem in the writings of countless literati. In Du Fu's writing, Chang'an is 'On the third day of the third month, the weather is fresh, by the waters of Chang'an many beautiful people gather'; in Li Bai's writing, Chang'an is 'Once meeting in Chang'an, calling me an immortal'; in Liu Yuxi's writing, Chang'an is 'No one does not sell wine, nowhere is music not heard.' Let us set foot on this land together, to see its splendid beauty, to feel the romance and prosperity that belong only to Chang'an.
