I came to Xi'an in a world full of longing, and during the four or five days I stayed at the previous hotels, it rained every day. The hotel's contrasting decor blends the grandeur of Tang Dynasty Chang'an with the luxurious tradition and avant-garde style of Meliá hotels into one. The hotel lobby has soft natural lighting and a comfortable sense of space. Order an afternoon tea at the Ling Water Bar, enjoy pastries, cakes, and Tapas, and have a happy chat with friends! The crispy-skinned roasted pigeon at Yue Fu Chinese Restaurant, the Spanish churros and pizza at Mercado Café, are unforgettable once tasted. Of course, for the most authentic Spanish feast, one must go to the Duo Spanish Theme Restaurant on the hotel's basement level. Iberian ham, Hemingway fried mushrooms, Spanish sausage platter, seafood paella, and rice pudding awaken the memories of taste buds, reminding me of the bits and pieces of that trip to Spain a few years ago.
