| A personal museum tour in Wuzhou. ✅When the driver pointed to a clock tower-like building and told me that we had arrived at the museum, I was skeptical. I got out of the car and couldn't believe that this was the entrance to the museum. ✅It turns out that Wuzhou Museum has two entrances. One is the most popular entrance, which is accessible by a sightseeing elevator. The other is accessible by a slope next to the museum, through the entrance of Riverside Park. You can drive there, and there is a parking lot. ✅Wuzhou, formerly known as Cangwu, is located at the confluence of the Xunjiang, Guijiang, and Xijiang Rivers in eastern Guangxi. It is the water gateway to Guangxi and a cultural city with a history of more than 2,000 years. It was the capital of the ancient Cangwu Kingdom and is known as the "Millennium Town of Lingnan and Century-old Commercial Port of Guangdong and Guangxi." ✅The museum's collection is not large, but it includes cultural relics such as Neolithic and Paleolithic stone tools, pottery, porcelain, jade, steatite, gold, silver, and bronze, which are the essence of the city's history and culture. Visitors can learn about the long and splendid culture of Wuzhou from multiple perspectives. ✅Visitor information ⏰Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, closed on Mondays: 9:00 am–5:00 pm (last admission at 4:30 pm) (National holidays are open as usual and the closing day is postponed) 📍Address: No. 18 Baiheli, Wenlan Road (Zhushan Top) ✅Notes: 1️⃣Stamp benefit: There is a service desk on the left side of the entrance. You can ask the staff for a stamp. There are museum stamps and cultural relic stamps. 2️⃣I heard that the sightseeing elevator will be suspended in August, and you can only enter from the Riverside Park entrance. It's a pity because the photos taken here are really great! 3️⃣There are not many people in the museum, so you can visit quietly. The museum is located on the top of a hill in the park, surrounded by green trees, and is a natural oxygen bar. 4️⃣If you have time after visiting the museum, I strongly recommend visiting Riverside Park, which has the former British Consulate and Hegang Tower. It's also a great place to visit!
