Wuzhou Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area

Wuzhou Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area is located in the northeastern part of Wuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, covering an area of 346 hectares, with the highest peak of 386 meters. The Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area has relics of Emperor Shun such as the Shenlu Platform, Guanghua Pavilion, and Jinji Rock. It is a sacred place for Chinese descendants at home and abroad to trace their roots and pay homage to the past, and it is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization. The great poet of the Tang Dynasty, Meng Haoran, wrote in his poem, 'The white clouds of Cangwu are far away, and the smoke and water of Dongting are deep.'; The Qing Dynasty poet Li Shirui wrote, 'The morning dew is thin and the sun is rising, the evening smoke is like dusk and the sun is low.' One of the eight sceneries of Wuzhou, 'Yunling Qinglan', comes from this.
