Huangling: An Ancient Village Hidden Deep in the Mountains

Huangling Scenic Area is located southeast of Jiangwan Town, Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, perched on a cliff. It was originally an isolated ancient village, built in the mid-Ming Dynasty. The ancient village was developed into a scenic area in 2009, but its original appearance has largely been preserved. Besides the ancient village, ancient trees, and ancient buildings, the "Shaiqiu" (autumn sun-drying) is particularly popular among girls. Colorful farm produce is sun-dried on the rooftops of the houses, creating picturesque scenes with the distinctively angled Huizhou-style architecture of the ancient village, making girls who love beauty eager to pose for photos and reluctant to leave.
