The Window to the Culture and History of Wuyuan---Wuyuan Museum

Wuyuan is a land of culture, and to understand its history, one must visit the Wuyuan Museum. The Wuyuan Museum was established in 1953 and is a national second-level museum. The museum's architecture is a typical Hui-style, and it houses various thematic exhibition halls such as the History of Inkstones, Wuyuan Ancient Architecture Exhibition, Craft Treasures Exhibition, Tea Fragrance and Elegance, and Ming and Qing Dynasty Paintings and Calligraphy. Among them, the Song Dynasty pottery inkstone used by Zhu Xi, the Qing Dynasty cat's eye, Liu Shiru's 'Ink Plum Painting' from the Ming Dynasty, and the Ming Dynasty gilded bronze candlestick with carved flowers are all very precious and rare. The exhibition hall is free to visit with valid documents, open from Tuesday to Sunday 8:30 to 16:30, and closed on Mondays.
