The "Agriculture and Animal Husbandry: The Great Transformation of Nature" exhibition is located in the Jiahu Site Museum in Jiahu Village, Beiwudu Town, Wuyang County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province. The emergence of primitive farming rewrote the relationship between humans and nature. The Jiahu area is low-lying and rich in water resources. The large wetlands, vast grasslands, and naturally grown wild rice groups provide an excellent environmental foundation for the development of farming. On the other hand, the population of the settlement gradually increased, bringing greater survival pressure to the ancestors. They began to think about how to make the source of food more stable. Through multiple excavations, thousands of carbonized rice grains have been found in the Jiahu site, and most of them have been initially identified as cultivated rice. The site also unearthed agricultural production tools such as stone sickles, stone knives, and stone shovels. This shows that as early as 9,000-7,500 years ago, the Jiahu ancestors had initially mastered the farming production technology represented by rice planting.
