Yuantouzhu~A Romantic Encounter with Cherry Blossoms

Wuxi has recently become very popular thanks to CCTV's Spring Festival Gala. The cherry blossoms at Yuantouzhu have always been quite famous. As someone from a neighboring city, I go to see the cherry blossoms every few years. In previous years, I would drive there, arriving early in the morning, but private cars had to be parked far away, and only buses could drive to the area closest to the entrance. This year, I chose to travel by high-speed rail. At Wuxi Station, I took the Leyou Line 1 directly to Yuantouzhu. It only stopped at four stations along the way (Liyuan Garden, the stop before the Yuantouzhu terminal, is also in full bloom). The whole journey took about an hour. I recommend boarding from the terminal station so you can get a seat. Standing for an hour can be quite tiring, especially since the scenic area is very large. I feel that Wuxi's tourism management is quite good this year. The staff gave orderly directions, and we queued up to pay first (5 yuan/person) before boarding the bus in an orderly manner. If you don't have a seat and don't want to stand, you can wait for the next bus. During peak season, there's a bus every 5 mins. When we arrived before 9am, it was already crowded, even though it was a working day. After entering the scenic area, we bought round-trip sightseeing bus tickets. The one-way trip is 2.8 km, and it would definitely be too far for the elderly people in our group to walk. Those who don't take the sightseeing bus can take photos along the way. The roadside is full of cherry blossoms and crabapple blossoms. We went directly to the famous Changchun Bridge, an ancient bridge that has borne the weight of countless enthusiastic tourists. It was very hot today, and there were so many people. To be honest, it was quite noisy and tiring. We took some photos and then returned. The last photo is of Changchun Bridge at 9am.
