Wuxi off-the-beaten-path attractions/Yangshan Volcanic Geopark

At the beginning of the new year, I came to Wuxi and visited Yangshan Volcanic Geopark, one of the off-the-beaten-path attractions. The park is free of charge. Climbing the mountain and seeing the volcanic geological relics and natural scenery is really meaningful. Along the way, I climbed along the hillside and saw the Bat Cave, which is more than 2,000 years old. I marveled at the wisdom of the ancients in quarrying (only the appearance can be seen), which formed many quarrying sites we see today, preserving typical volcanic landforms such as craters, lava flows, and volcanic cones. Yangshan Volcanic Geopark is well managed. There is a "Anyang Mountain Guide Map" at the entrance, and there are signposts at each place, with hiking trails and viewing platforms, and providing excellent views of the natural scenery.
