I thought Wuzhen was beautiful until I visited Huishan Ancient Town.

It's as if you can see ancient scholars studying diligently here. 5️⃣ A Bing's Tomb: At A Bing's Tomb, the melody of "The Moon Reflected in Erquan" echoes in my mind, filling me with respect for this legendary folk musician. 6️⃣ Ancestral Hall Culture: With over 100 ancestral halls, this is the best-preserved group of ancestral halls in China. The Zhang Zhongcheng Ancestral Hall and Gu Kejiu Ancestral Hall are particularly famous. 7️⃣ Rich Cultural Activities: During festivals, the ancient town hosts various traditional cultural activities, such as temple fairs, folk performances, and lantern festivals, offering great entertainment and participation. 🌈Recommended Fall Spots: It's late October, and although Huishan Ancient Town hasn't reached its peak fall colors yet, there's already a hint of autumn. Just wait a little longer, and this place will be the ultimate fall destination in Wuxi! Hongwu Ginkgo at Huishan Temple: This ancient ginkgo tree is said to have been planted by a monk during the early Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, over 600 years ago. Ancient Ginkgo at Zhang Zhongcheng Temple: There are two ancient ginkgo trees over 400 years old at Zhang Zhongcheng Temple on Xiuzhang Street in the ancient town. They are stunning in the fall. Ancient Ginkgo at Gu Kejiu Ancestral Hall: Inside the ancestral hall stands a 400-year-old ginkgo tree, tall and majestic, in front of the hall. Its branches and leaves extend beyond the wall, creating a stunning scene against the clear blue sky. Ancient Ginkgo in Front of Yunqi Tower: Yunqi Tower is built against the mountain, with a lush ancient ginkgo tree in front. This ginkgo, planted during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, was once struck by lightning, leaving a third of its trunk dead. However, after restoration by a horticulturist, it regained its beauty. In the fall, the yellow leaves, white walls, black tiles, and blue sky create a colorful picture. Jichang Garden: As one of the four famous gardens in Jiangnan, the garden's deciduous trees, such as beech and maple, intertwine with the evergreen camphor trees in the fall. Combined with the tranquil ponds and pavilions, they create a vibrant scene of red, yellow, and green. This fall, visit Huishan Ancient Town!
