Compared with Nanjing and Suzhou, it had a unique flavor that made people linger and forget to return. Sitting alone under the bridge, avoiding the scorching sun, and enjoying the pleasant breeze on my face, at that moment, time seemed to stand still, and my soul found unprecedented peace. 🌧️However, the weather in Jiangnan is always changeable. That night, a light rain continued, heralding the arrival of the plum rain season. Although the rain was not heavy, it added a bit of poetry to my trip to Hui Mountain the next day. I bought tickets in advance and stepped into this ancient town with a long history. Hui Mountain Ancient Town, like many other Jiangnan ancient towns, is filled with a strong commercial atmosphere, but its simplicity and tranquility still intoxicate. The Suzhou-style gardens in the rain appeared even more gentle, with each raindrop seeming to tell a thousand-year-old story.
