Half of it is a Buddha's land, and the other half is mountains

One should at least make a trip to Mount Wutai! Smelling the incense, listening to the chanting, a pure land emerges, with three sticks of incense burning steadily, all wishes are as hoped, and all paths become smooth! Manjushri Bodhisattva once made a grand vow: 'As long as you come to Mount Wutai, I guarantee you will see me. However, in what form I appear to you, you will not know. The leaf, the flower, the stone, or the creature you encounter, each being may be an illusion of Manjushri Bodhisattva, all just to meet us. Imagine, what a wonderful encounter of beings that would be. Mount Wutai is located in the northeastern part of Wutai County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, covering an area of 2,837 square kilometers. Centered around Taihuai Town, there stand five peaks to the east, west, south, north, and center, rising above the clouds, with no trees on their summits, resembling earthen platforms, hence named Wutai, or 'Five Terraces'. The highest peak, North Terrace's Yedou Peak, reaches an altitude of 3,058 meters and is known as the 'Roof of North China'.
