This is the hotel to stay at when visiting Wuhan!

Crowne Plaza Wuhan Optics Valley: A Full Review I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Wuhan Optics Valley and was impressed by the accommodation, dining, and facilities. Here's my review. 🏘️️️Room type/layout: The hotel offers a variety of room types. The Deluxe Twin Room is uniquely designed with two beds on either side of a partition, like a half-sleeping pod. The layout is clear and comfortable. The Superior Lake View Twin Room offers a great view and is excellent in all aspects. The 40 m² room is spacious, with a separate shower and toilet. The twin beds are 1.25 m wide, and the overall layout is practical. 🛌Supplies/facilities: The room is well-lit, and the toiletries have a pleasant bitter orange scent. However, there is only one bedside phone, which is slightly inconvenient. The swimming pool and gym are on the 25th floor. The 25-meter standard pool is clear and has no obvious smell of disinfectant. The buffet breakfast on the 2nd floor offers a wide variety of bread, freshly cooked noodles, hot dishes, and Wuhan specialties such as Sanxian Doupi and Mianwo. The Pinzhen Buffet Restaurant offers a wide variety of food, including seafood such as tender boiled shrimp, fresh shellfish, tasty sea snails, and smooth salmon. The hot pot and cooked food area offers fragrant bullfrogs and beef ribs with plenty of sauce. The barbecue area offers a good mix of meat and vegetables, with juicy and tender steaks. The fruit is juicy, the desserts are sweet but not greasy, and the vegetable salad is healthy. 🧹Soundproofing/hygiene: The hotel is clean and tidy, including the guest rooms, restaurants, and swimming pool. 💗Other tips: The hotel is located above the Wuhan Metro Optics Valley Bio-Park Station and forms the "Wuhan Twin Towers" with the Optics Valley Financial Center. The hotel combines business and aesthetic design, with metal cranes at the entrance and a front desk background wall that incorporates Jingchu culture. The service is friendly and enthusiastic, and the travel experience is good. If you are on vacation, the location is a bit far, with a subway ride to Hankou taking nearly 2 hours and a taxi ride to Yellow Crane Tower taking about 30 minutes. However, it is very suitable for business trips, with many snacks and a lively atmosphere on the Optics Valley Pedestrian Street 8 km away. The Pinzhen Buffet Restaurant is open to the public, and it is recommended to book a window seat in advance. The environment is quiet and cozy, and the decor is grand and tasteful, making it a great place for photos.
