For the Fragrance of Plum Blossoms - East Lake Plum Garden

Plum blossoms bloom in the cold, bringing a refreshing fragrance. Wuhan East Lake Plum Garden is one of the four major plum gardens in China and the National Plum Blossom Research Center. It is home to many attractions, including Miaoxiangguo, Jiangnan First Branch, Huaxi, Fanghe Pavilion, Meiyou Statue, and Lengyan Pavilion. The plum garden covers an area of more than 800 mu and has more than 20,000 plum trees. The plum garden is located on the southern slope of Moshan Scenic Area in East Lake Scenic Area, Wuhan, Hubei Province. It is surrounded by water on three sides, with pine trees and bamboo around it, making it a natural "Three Friends of Winter" landscape and one of the best plum gardens in China. The mountains are green, the water is clear, and the scenery is beautiful. In early spring, the plum blossoms are in full bloom, and the fragrance is everywhere. Tourists from all over the world come to enjoy the plum blossoms, recite poems, paint, and take photos. The garden is "natural and unadorned," with a unique geographical location. In the garden, you can enjoy the vast lake view of East Lake and the mountain view of Moshan, which is home to Chutian Terrace and Zhubei Pavilion. Covering an area of more than 1,200 mu, the garden has more than 20,000 plum trees and nearly 320 varieties of plum blossoms, 152 of which have been internationally registered.
