Hubu Alley, a place of distinctive delicacies

8 years ago, on my way back from Sanya, I was attracted by Hubu Alley in Wuhan, which is known for its history and delicious food. This time, on a business trip from Beijing, driving all the way down south, I was thinking of Wuhan's duck neck, hot dry noodles, Wuchang fish, stinky tofu, and more, so I rushed there. The next day, I couldn't wait to get to Hubu Alley by noon. It was drizzling, and strolling through Hubu Alley was very pleasant. Seeing so many mouth-watering foods made me drool. Hubu Alley was established during the Ming Dynasty and got its name in the Qing Dynasty because it was adjacent to the Fan Tai Yamen (which corresponds to the Hubu Yamen in the capital city), and there is a local saying, 'Taste Hubu Alley in the morning, snack on Jiqing Street at night.' The area, including the west end of Minzhu Road, the old Hubu Alley, the middle section of Ziyou Road, and the south section of Dufu Dike, consists of four streets and roads mainly composed of distinctive snack groups, buildings, cultural corridors, cultural walls, and stages.
