Wuhan | The overall experience at the Zhuoer Marriott Hotel was not bad

🚗 This time I took advantage of a business trip and saw that this Marriott was having a promotion with bonus points, and since it's relatively close to Hankou Railway Station, I decided to check it out. The red exterior in the pictures is quite eye-catching, and it's said to be a designer hotel... feels a bit of a stretch though. Overall, the stay was quite good, especially since on a weekday it costs less than 500 to experience, and with the bonus points promotion, it's quite worth it, suitable for those looking to collect stays for the night. 🚗 Stay Experience 1. The location is a bit remote, but it's convenient to get to Hankou Railway Station and Wuhan Airport, with less risk of traffic jams. 2. The hotel is quite new, with some places nearby still under renovation. There are some wastelands outside, and you can hear construction noise during the day. 3. The room interior feels average, just the standard Marriott decor. I booked a basic room and was told it was upgraded to a larger executive room, but it didn't feel any different. The view from the high-floor windows is not great, facing a construction site. 4. The room's soundproofing is not very good; you can hear the water running clearly from the next room. The construction site across the street starts making noise after 7 am, so those who are light sleepers should be cautious. 5. The hotel has a lounge, dinner seems to be from 5:30 to 7 pm, and hh until 10 pm. The front desk will inform you when you check in. 6. The lounge experience is average, no one greets you at the entrance, and a staff member nearby cleans as if no one is there. 7. Breakfast is on the first floor, pretty standard. There are local hot dry noodles and two other types of noodles. 8. There's a park nearby called Wutongyu, where it seems you can do archery and such, and it's a good place to visit when the weather is nice. It's also close to Wuhan Polar Ocean Park, which should be nice for water activities in the summer. 9. Yesterday was Sunday and it was a weekday, so it wasn't very crowded, but with the hotel's recent promotions, it's expected that it won't be less crowded on weekends, so those who value experience should be cautious.
