e bear eating hot dry noodles is too cute! Be sure to remember to get it! Wuhan Optics Valley Marriott Hotel

The location of this hotel is just too remote, otherwise it really is a good choice among the Marriotts in Wuhan, with a distinctive architectural appearance, known as the 'lying skyscraper'. However, due to the bad weather, there was no drone photography, and the hotel only occupies a small part of this huge building. As a Marriott hotel, the public areas of the hotel are quite simple. There is New Year's decoration in the center of the double-height lobby, the lobby bar on the right, the elevator area on the left, and the front desk straight ahead at the end. Coming out of the elevator area, you can see three restaurants close together, and that's where all the hotel's amenities are. The gym on the 6th floor is fully equipped and very new, and the 25*12 meter swimming pool is also well-lit. Although the public areas are indeed somewhat lackluster, with everything visible at a glance, the hotel's guest rooms are actually quite fantastic, giving me the impression that they are among the better ones in the Marriotts that have opened in recent years. Since it was the Lantern Festival during my stay, and the hotel has a limited number of suites, I ended up staying in a corner room. Although the app uniformly marks the suites as 46 square meters, they are actually quite large, with a real feel of over 60 square meters, and the living experience is very comfortable. Upon entering, there is a hallway with a side cabinet that I like, and a frosted glass screen behind it for decoration. The chandelier is beautiful. Moving forward, there is an independent cloakroom on the left, which is very spacious. The bedroom is so large that it feels a bit empty, plus the ceiling is much higher than in ordinary hotels. The simple decoration is not without its delicacies, making it feel very comfortable. This Marriott's room style is quite unique compared to other Marriotts that have opened in recent years, not very homogenized. The drop-down style electric curtains and the light milk coffee turquoise color scheme both feel quite high-end. Of course, there are also regrets. One is the absence of a bench at the end of the bed, and the other is the annoying small round table for the desk. However, to make up for the regret of not being able to upgrade to a suite, the hotel sent me a custom 'Hot Dry Noodles Bear' plush toy, with big cute eyes and a smile, holding a bowl of hot dry noodles, which is too adorable, a very design-conscious hotel toy. In addition, there were also Perrier water and a handwritten card, making the welcome gift quite generous. The mini-bar here has Sichuan Ning tea bags, a capsule-free coffee machine, and the mini-fridge is also empty, which is indeed a bit under-equipped for a newly opened Marriott. The bathroom vanity is spacious, with only a single basin, the bathtub is PG frosted, a new model that I haven't used, and feels comfortable. However, the cleaning was not very thorough, and I had to scrub it again before daring to take a bath. There is a shelf but no bath salts or loofahs provided. The shower space is not large, with a footrest, large bottles of amenities mounted on the wall. Marriott's herbal essential oil fragrance is more suitable for men, I guess. The shower experience is okay, but the toilet doesn't have a smart bidet, and the phone shelf seems not so sturdy, already tilted and not repaired. In terms of space and decoration style, the rooms at this Marriott are undoubtedly excellent, with corner rooms being much larger than standard rooms. However, the software configuration in the guest rooms is indeed still somewhat lacking. Apart from the bathtub, everything else feels like it doesn't match the decor, which is a bit disappointing. Travelers probably won't choose this hotel, after all, it's even further from the Optics Valley Hyatt by more than ten kilometers. For hotel enthusiasts, it's worth checking in once and picking up a 🐻. Suites are rare, but if you can't upgrade, a corner room is also nic
