Assiniboine Park

We went in the morning and had planned to go to Nature Playground - a very unique playground with a water play area (wasn’t working at the time unfortunately), rubber paved hills with a wall climbing apparatus, balls, long slide, swings, net-type climbing structures, and musical type structures off to the side. Walking paths around the park are great. We took a break and had a snack near the family duck pond. The various gardens are all attached and shaded just a short distance from Nature Playground. Plenty of parking available although I’m sure that would be different if there were events going on. Bathrooms near the duck pond were frequently cleaned. The pavilion has 3 levels of art galleries. It was a nice quiet place to cool off during the heat. Kids and adults enjoyed it.
