Share your personal route: 1⃣️ Jet gallery On the main road leading to the 199 steps, stop at a small and beautiful Jat gallery, which is also a restaurant. Jet is sold along the streets of Whitby, so it depends on your taste, but the exhibits used for mourning in the exhibition hall are so special!!! The hair of the commemorated person is stored in the Jet in a very delicate and beautiful form, which is fascinating. 2⃣️199 steps Walk up the steps step by step, and you can enjoy one of the most unique sea views in Whitby. The angle changes a little bit, and the seaside town has a strong sense of layering, beautiful!!! 3⃣️Whitby Abbey At the top of the steps, there is a large cemetery with excellent scenery!! Seeing that several tombstones were half-fallen, I was so excited that I told my husband that we will be here a hundred years later. You see, even the dead are lying flat, hahaha. My husband looked around and said that there might not be any vacancies. The monastery is right next to the cemetery. There is a fence and tickets are required. You can buy tickets based on your personal preference. We walked around the outer edge of the circle and the souvenir shop. There is also a café inside, which is like a rooftop garden where you can take a rest. [R to the right] There are also a few free public toilets. 4⃣️larpool lane Walking around the monastery We temporarily left the harbor and chose to go to larpool lane. It took 30 minutes to walk around the Whitby residential area and green forest. We enjoyed our own lunch by the stream under larpool lane. I saw the steam train roaring past at a very close distance! [Laughing R] Then I crossed larpool lane back to the harbor and greeted many people hiking and cycling along the way. 5⃣️Whitby Beach We returned to the harbor around 4 pm and went to the beach to play.
