Inniswood Metro Park - Columbus

#passionpassport Dedicated to the enjoyment, cultivation and preservation of nature’s treasures, Inniswood boasts more than 2,000 species of plants, specialty collections and themed gardens, including a children’s garden, as well as the Rose, Herb, Conifer and Woodland Rock Gardens. Grace and Mary Innis donated their 38-acre Westerville estate to Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks in 1972. Metro Parks funds the operation and ongoing maintenance of Inniswood Metro Gardens. Thanks to the continued support of the voters of Franklin County in the passage of several park levies, Metro Parks has been able to expand the Innis Sisters’ homestead and transform the area into one of the premier botanical gardens in the midwest. The generosity of the Inniswood Garden Society and the Inniswood Volunteers provide additional support for special projects and programs. #passionpassport #park #metropark
