In my busy daily life, I suddenly yearned for leisure and tranquility, and I had the opportunity to visit Kipungit Waterfall, located near Ranau, Sabah, Malaysia. This trip was not just a simple tour, but a precious time that gave me a true 'rest' after a long time.👏 Kipungit Waterfall is located close to Poring Hot Springs, so it is easily accessible. There is a short walking trail of about 400 meters from the hot spring entrance to the waterfall, and this path is not just a simple route, but a precious experience in itself. As I walked along the path created in the forest, the tall trees blocked the sky, and the sunlight pouring through the leaves created a sparkling path. The sounds of birds, insects, and branches rustling while walking along this path felt like quiet music from nature. After walking along the path for about 10 minutes, I heard the sound of cool water from afar. As I got closer, my heart started to flutter, and when Kipunggit Falls finally appeared, I couldn't help but exclaim in awe. The waterfall wasn't very large, but the clear, powerful water falling and the dense forest surrounding it made me feel like I was watching a scene from a fairy tale~⛰️ I sat on a flat rock near the waterfall and stayed for a long time, listening to the sound of the water and the wind. At that moment, it felt like time had stopped, and the complicated thoughts that had filled my head were being washed away one by one. There was a shallow pool of water under the waterfall, so I took off my shoes and carefully dipped my feet in. The feeling of the cold, yet fresh water spreading over my skin was truly unforgettable and refreshing. The best part was that this place was not too crowded, so I could fully experience nature in a quiet and secluded atmosphere. These days, tourist destinations are often crowded with people, so it is often difficult to get a proper rest, but Kipungit Falls, unlike that, seemed to preserve the purity and peace that nature originally had. 😆 This time, where I was able to reflect on myself while staying in nature for a while, gave me a meaning that was more than just a simple trip. Kipungit Falls was a place that quietly, yet deeply resonated with me, soothing my heart. Even now that the trip is over, the sound of the waterfall I heard there and the sunlight seeping through the trees are vivid in my mind!! If I visit Malaysia again next time, I will visit this place again without hesitation.
